If Shinkis can't have their memories back, what if they ran into someone who was a part of their previous life? If they are seen in public, their memories will come back at some point. The vast majority of living Humans forget the dead immediately. For the most part gods and shinki are pretty much invisible to them, except that they don't bump into each other. Only when the non-living make themselfs stand out, like for example talking to the living, do most of the people register them at all. But even so they'll forget them again within minutes.
And the Shinki do not recognize even their closest relatives. In the manga one of the Shinki saw her own mother, but did not recognize her NoNickNeeded (talk) 12:25, August 13, 2018 (UTC)
