History[]

Sekiun is one of twelve Un clan shinki who served Takemikazuchi's previous incarnation. The night that Kiun was named, Takemikazuchi was blighted and attacked by his shinki-turned-ayakashi. Takemikazuchi called for Kanki, but Sekiun refused to be summoned. Sekiun said that Takemikazuchi had caused his downfall himself, by always flying into rage at even the smallest infarction by his shinki. He asked how many had been killed by him, and was resolute that none of his remaining shinki would serve him again even if he called their name. He then commanded the others to fire, and together they attacked Takemikazuchi using borderlines. Although Takemikazuchi retaliated with lightning, in the end, Sekiun and the Un-clan shinki were able to force him to reincarnate. Blighted, bloody, and crying tears of joy, Sekiun lifted the new Takemikazuchi into the air and exclaimed that their young lord had been born. He and the other eleven surviving Un-clan shinki raised the new incarnation by having him shoulder the blame for his previous incarnation's violence. Sekiun would later have the young Takemikazuchi place camellia flowers on the gravestones for the shinki his past incarnation had killed.[1]
