A Purgatory (獄 (ごく) , Goku^?) is a shinki technique used to trap an opponent. It can be used by any three shinki who can create a borderline, and is effective in trapping both shinki and gods.

Casting Sequence

Three shinki must stand in triangle formation surrounding the target. They then create intersecting borderlines and chant "Purgatory! (獄 (ごく) Goku!)" in unison.

Applications

• Ablution (禊 (みそぎ) , Misogi^?): A Purgatory is used to entrap the offending shinki and begin the ritual.

• Kinuha, Akiha, and Kuraha use a Purgatory to isolate Yato from Yukine.
• Heavenly Guard Ōshi and two unnamed shinki of Heaven use it to capture Kazuma.
