Administrators are users who have additional rights and permissions on the Wiki compared to ordinary contributors. They maintain, manage, and upkeep the Wiki, as well as enforce Wiki policies. For a full list explaining additional user rights, visit this page.
Content Moderator abilities
A Content Moderator is a user with tools for moderating certain parts of the community.
- They can protect and unprotect pages.
- They can delete and move protected pages.
- They can delete and move files.
- They can undelete pages and files.
- They can rollback edits.
- They can re-upload files.
Administrator abilities
An Administrator, also known as a "sysop" or "admin":
- Has all the abilities of a Content Moderator.
- Has all the abilities of a Discussion Moderator.
- Can block IP addresses or usernames from editing.
- Can edit the Wiki's Javascript and CSS.
- Can edit the wiki's interface by changing system messages and skins.
Bureaucrats
A bureaucrat is a user who can grant other users special rights on the Wiki. (However, they cannot remove the bureaucrat rights from another user– a Wikia Community Staff member must do this.) Bureaucrats generally have the highest administrative authority and are thus in charge of managing and overseeing Wiki operations to keep the site running smoothly.
What can the administration team not do?
- Should not use their administrator powers to settle editing disputes; for example, to lock a page on a version they prefers in an editing dispute that isn't vandalism. Administrator powers should be used to help keep the wiki clear of vandalism, spam, and users who make malicious edits, but not for simple disagreements between users acting in good faith.
- Cannot have been blocked in the past; such a user is considered untrustworthy and cannot become administrator.
- Should not get into arguments; administrators are expected to keep calm and civil when settling disputes.
- Cannot abuse their administrative powers - all actions taken should be in the best interest of the Wiki.

Other special users
A bot is an automated process, program, or script that is used to make repetitive and/or numerous edits on a community. Sometimes, bot accounts are given a "bot flag" that hides all of their edits from the recent changes list (although any Contributor can still choose to see them by de-selecting the "Human (not bot)" filter, or by selecting the "Bot" filter). Currently, the only active bot account on the Noragami Wiki is Kunimi.bot.
Becoming an administrator
For you to gain administrator status, someone with bureaucrat access must grant it to you. The Noragami Wiki is a small wiki; therefore, you may simply ask on the community portal or Forum, or ask a bureaucrat directly on their talk page.
If there are no active bureaucrats, use the "Requests for adminship" page to nominate users to become admins or bureaucrats. Once a community decision has been reached (or if there is no active community to debate the decision), please leave a message at the wiki adoption requests page and Wikia Staff can provide the rights.
