The following is a list of Minor Characters in ノラガミ Noragami. Generally, they are characters who are recognizable but have too little content to warrant a page of their own.

They are separated into one of four categories: gods, shinki, humans, and others (including loose spirits, etc.). Characters within each section are listed alphabetically.

Emishi gods
Two Emishi gods are introduced alongside Arahabaki at the 26XXth Divine Council. Like Arahabaki, they were replaced by Heaven after rebelling in the past.[1]

Izanagi
Izanagi (イザナギ Izanagi?) is mentioned in relation to Ebisu, when Iwami informs a young Ebisu that some say he is the first child of Izanami and Izanagi.[2]

Kunimi's first master
Kunimi's first master was a nameless god born from the game of a group of children. As those children grew up, the god was eventually forgotten and disappeared, leaving Kunimi with a name but no master.[3]

O-Inari
O-Inari ( (いな) () O-Inari?), also known as Uka-no-Mitama (ウカノミタマ Uka no mitama?), is a god in attendance at the 26XXth Divine Council. They win second place in the annual popularity contest.[4] Prior to the Council, Bishamon and Kazuma visit Suehiro Jinja, a shrine dedicated to both Uka-no-Mitama and Bishamonten.[5]

Yato-no-kami
Yato-no-kami (夜刀 (やとの) (かみ) Yato-no-kami?) is one of the gods in attendance at Bishamon's Divine Council. As Bishamonten describes her confrontation with Yatogami, another anonymous god asks if she meant to say Yato-no-kami, to which both Bishamon and Yato-no-kami object.[6]

Bishamon's previous battle shinki
Bishamon's previous battle shinki belonged to Bishamonten's now-deceased Ma clan. Along with the clan's guidepost, they were the shinki that Bishamon typically used when hunting ayakashi. Collectively, their vessel forms were shown to be a giant eagle, three-pronged spear, sheathed katana, and a set of divine garments. After Bishamon was blighted, they carried out Ablutions and threw Touma into a vent at the guidepost's orders.[7]

Bishamon's previous guide
Bishamon's previous guide was a shinki of Bishamonten's Ma clan; as a vessel, she took the form of a tiger. When Bishamon became heavily blighted, her guide began a hunt for the shinki responsible. After the Ablutions she ordered didn't work, she had Touma thrown into a vent for objecting to her methods. The guide was eventually attacked with a borderline by another Ma shinki, and she retaliated even while bleeding heavily.[7]

Bouki
Bouki ( (ぼう) () Bōki?) (human name unrevealed) was a shinki of Kagutsuchi who was summoned during the subjugation of Bishamon[8] and the Crafter, but was exposed to the God's Greatest Secret during the latter.[9] His vessel form was a set of ten engraved rings that Kagutsuchi can use to create more controlled fires.

Gaiki
Gaiki ( (がい) () Gaiki?) (human name unrevealed) was a shinki of Kagutsuchi who was summoned during the subjugation of Bishamon[8] and the Crafter, but was exposed to the God's Greatest Secret during the latter.[9] His vessel form was a standard katana.

Kagome children
The Kagome children are members of the Heavenly Guard. As young children who do not know the difference between good and evil, they are able to perform the Kagome curse as part of Heaven's interrogation of Ebisu's strays.[10]

Kushihime
Kushihime ( (くし) (ひめ) Kushihime?) was Rabō's shinki who appeared in Awase Kagami. She took the form of a naginata.[11]

Murasaki
Murasaki ( (むらさき) Murasaki?) is a shinki of Benzaiten (clan suffix unrevealed). As a vessel, she takes the form of a hagoita. She is introduced in her human form when Benzaiten asks her to step away so that she can discuss matters involving the God's Greatest Secret with Hotei. Murasaki is seen asking Shiiho what he meant when he said that the Seven Gods of Fortune other than Ebisu and Bishamonten are background characters.[12]

Okuninushi's guide
Ōkuninushi's guide is an elderly shinki of short stature. He is seen accompanying Okuninushi to Divine Councils and while visiting Bishamonten.[13][4]

Souki
Souki ( (そう) () Sōki?) is one of Bishamon's Ha clan shinki (human name unrevealed). It is unspecified which of the two girls pictured is Souki. Her vessel form is comprised of a pair slacks and boots, a long overcoat, and a dress shirt and tie.[14]

Tsuhiro
Tsuhiro ( () (ひろ) Tsuhiro?) was the guidepost of Shinatsuhiko. As a vessel, their name was Shinki ( (しん) () ) and they took the form of a giant hand fan.[8] They were summoned for the subjugation of Bishamon and the Crafter, but became exposed to the God's Greatest Secret by Chiki during the latter.[9]

Fujisaki triplets
The Fujisaki triplets are the three nieces of Koto Fujisaki. After his older sister moved into the family home with her three daughters, Koto moved to live with his father.[15] While the triplets are visiting Koto in the city, Yukine encounters one of them and saves her from an ayakashi, meeting up with Father in the process.[16]

Hara son
The Hara son is a boy that Yato and Yukine babysit after being hired by his parents. He would often look at the mirror next to his crib and play with his reflection. His desire for a playmate eventually manifests into an ayakashi, which Yato and Yukine slay.[17]

Hara-san
Hara-san ( (はら) さん Hara-san?) are a married couple who, in the interest of catching up on sleep, hire Yato and Yukine to look after their baby for a day.[17]

Haruki's mother
Haruki's mother was the ex-wife of Naomichi Tajima and the mother of Haruki Tajima and Yuka Miyaike. She divorced Naomichi at Yuka's advice, but left Haruki behind at her husband's command.[18] She also showed Naomichi the letters that Haruki sent to Yuka.[19] In the anime, she appears briefly in Yukine's memories after he is named by Yato.[20]

Harumi
Harumi ( (はる) () Harumi?) is the daughter of Kiyoko Onodera and granddaughter of Mayu. She refers to Kiyoko with a term that is used for a stepmother, adoptive mother, or mother-in-law, but their exact relationship is not specified.[21] She first appears while Kiyoko is explaining the importance of her bracelet to Yato, Yukine, and Hiyori. She later brings Kiyoko home from Tenjin’s shrine.[22]

Hashimoto
Hashimoto is a middle school student at Shiratori Academy who, along with two other unnamed male students, bullied Manabu Hagiwara. When Manabu challenges him to a fight with boxcutters, he is so frightened that he wets his pants[23] and leaves him alone thereafter.[24] He is only named in the anime.[25]

Hirano family
The Hirano family were Kazuma's immediate family from when he was alive as Kiyotsugu Hirano. This includes his elder brother, mother, father, grandfather, and Oyone (およね Oyone?) (relationship unspecified, but possibly his intended wife).[26][27] They were a wealthy family of salt merchants. The second son Kiyotsugu was meant to inherit the business, but he was murdered by his brother shortly before his wedding.[26]

Kouto Fujisaki's sister
Kouto Fujisaki's sister is the mother of the Fujisaki triplets. She lives in the Fujisaki family's countryside home with her mother and three daughters.[15]

Mayu's husband
Mayu's husband was a man who parted with his wife Mayu and his daughter Kiyoko Onodera to serve in World War II. He left them his pocket watch as a memento.[22]

Ryōichi Uno
Ryōichi Uno ( () () リョウイチ Uno Ryōichi?) is a popular artist who is preparing for an exhibition of his paintings. Yato and Yukine encounter him while on a job requested by Masaomi Iki. Yukine assumes that Ryōichi is being haunted by a ghost, but Yato corrects him by pointing out that Ryōichi does not appear to be possessed at all.[28]

Sasaki-san
Sasaki-san ( () () () さん Sasaki-san?) is a woman who works as a housekeeper for the Iki family.[29] Over a period of time, Hiyori competed with Sasaki-san for household chores, and as a result she has enough money to pay her own way to Yomotsu Hirasaka.[30]

Touno
Touno ( (とう) () Tōno?) is a mixed martial artist who championed the Jungle Savate technique. Hiyori idolizes him to the point that she calls him Touno-sama ( (とう) () (さま) ), watches all his matches, and replicates his attacks.[31]

Traveling Priest
The Traveling Priest ( (ひじり) Hijiri?) was an unnamed Buddhist monk who rescued a young Father from the wreckage after his village was destroyed by natural disaster. The two traveled together until the monk attempted a pilgrimage to his death (捨身 (しゃしん) 往生 (おうじょう) shashin oujou?)[32] to join the Pure Land.[9] Although he attempted to take Father with him, Father struggled against him and survived, sending the Priest over the edge of a cliff.[33]

Arahabaki's children
Arahabaki's children are spirits taken in by Arahabaki, the majority of whom he has not named as his shinki. Many are young children, while the eldest spirits appear to be in their teenage years. They refer to him as "Pa" ( (とう) ちゃん Tou-chan?), and all pitch in with household responsibilities.[34]

Grandfather Iki
Grandfather Iki (じい (さま) Jī-sama?) is the deceased maternal grandfather of Hiyori and Masaomi Iki. It is implied by Masaomi that it was his wish for his children to follow in his footsteps by becoming doctors.[35] He married into the Iki family after threatening to elope with Grandmother Iki should her father not allow them to wed. He later returns as a shinigami-like being to guide his wife to the afterlife.[36]

Inaba-chan (いなばちゃん Inaba-chan?) is the pet rabbit of Ōkuninushi.[37]

Loose spirit (artist)
Loose spirit (artist) was a ghost who was friends with Masaomi Iki. She often possessed humans and drew through them. She eventually became painted into a canvas and trapped, but passed on after being freed by Yato and Yukine.[28]

Loose spirit (mother)
Loose spirit (mother) was a loose spirit who, from the bedroom of her home, had witnessed her son kill and bury four people in their yard. She hired Yato and Hiiro to kill her son to prevent him from taking more victims.[38]

Loose spirit (little girl)
Loose spirit (little girl) was a loose spirit who, unaware she had died, was waiting for her mother to pick her up. Since she was afraid of ayakashi, Yukine waited with her until nightfall. She was grabbed by a group of ayakashi and was last seen almost completely transformed into one.[39]

Satou's family
Satou's family were Satou's late wife, son, and daughter. How and when they died are unspecified, but they return as "shinigami-like" beings[40] to guide Satou to the afterlife.[41]
