Karma ayakashi are a special type of phantom resulting from a shinki succumbing to the God's Greatest Secret.
They have no official name in the series and are simply called "ayakashi";[1] however, the term "karma ayakashi" caught on with the fandom somewhat[2][3] following Father's comment about this phenomenon being a manifestation of a person's karma.[4]
