Humans (人間, にんげん, "Ningen") are living creatures from the Near Shore. Their wishes are the reasons for the gods' existence and purpose. Some humans can sense creature from the Far Shore, but still forgets them without a constant reminder.
Future
When humans died, they often become wandering ghosts - souls of deceased which can be easily eaten by phantoms if they don't gain names as shinki. They can transform into phantoms if they had negative emotions. Few humans have been deified.
